Topside Residences
Conran and Partners were invited to design a unique show apartment for Topside Residences that balances luxury and approachability. Situated in the heart of Hong Kong, the show unit presented an opportunity to create a modern sanctuary, enabling residents to retreat from the surrounding urban landscape.
Throughout the apartment, a palette of natural, light materials was meticulously curated, imbuing the space with an aura of spaciousness, despite the modest dimensions. This thoughtful selection enhances the aesthetic appeal and fosters an environment conducive to relaxation and comfort.
A notable design feature is the integration of an open-plan layout, wherein the third bedroom seamlessly transitions into the living areas through an elegant folding screen. This design choice optimises spatial efficiency and introduces a multifunctional element, creating a separate music or reading room that seamlessly connects to the primary living space.
Attention to detail is evident throughout, with bespoke joinery seamlessly integrated to provide designated spaces for every necessity, decluttering the rooms and promoting a sense of organisation and tranquillity.
Strategically positioned shelving units allow residents to showcase their cherished possessions, ranging from records to ceramics. These thoughtful design elements personalise the interior whilst adding layers of character and identity to the space.
