As part of its complete restoration, Conran and Partners were responsible for the redesign of the main restaurant within the Royal Festival Hall on London’s Southbank. The former ‘People’s Palace’ was relaunched as a D&D London restaurant, ‘Skylon’.

The restaurant enjoys an impressive ceiling height of 6m with floor to ceiling glazing along a 36m aspect to the Thames. Now a Grade 1 Listed Building, the design for the restaurant space, and palette of materials and colours, is informed by the details of the original building design.
