RUYA London

London

A new Anatolian dining concept. Inspired by the rich heritage of Anatolian and Turkish cuisine, with a modern twist to attract a contemporary international audience. Rüya, meaning ‘dream’ in Turkish, is a new dining concept which explores the rich history and diversity of Anatolian food.

Conran and Partners set out to create a vibrant and contemporary new concept. The design draws upon elements of Turkish history and the meeting of Eastern and Western cultural influences from the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires to the present day, reinterpreting them in the materials, patterns, textures and colours.
The first Rüya restaurant, located in the Grosvenor House Hotel on the Dubai Marina, opened in 2016 and is arranged across 800 m², with capacity for around 230 guests. Dining areas include a bar, lounge, private dining and external terrace offering stunning views of the Marina
The second site in Mayfair, London, opened in 2018 and is arranged across 560m², with a capacity of around 190 guests. The design includes a 110-cover restaurant, a private dining room and a chef’s table, as well as a lounge bar. The restaurant is in a long linear space animated by areas of activity starting with the bar, the open kitchen and a feature bread oven.
