Gritty, artisan and alternative. The MAK bakery and Halicka restaurant embody the creative energy of Krakow, each with a unique personality.
The new PURO hotel in Kazimierz was inspired by the historic and cultural significance of the unique town; from its former warehouses and workshops to its more recently established galleries, street art and food culture.
It aims to encapsulate the gritty, artisan, alternative ambience of this rapidly-changing neighbourhood whilst connecting guests to the forward-looking, innovative principles of the Puro brand and the vibrancy of the local contemporary art community.
A new café, restaurant and bar incorporate a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, with private pockets of space where guests can enjoy moments of tranquillity away from the bustle outside. A base palette, which runs cohesively throughout the hotel, has been adapted to give a defined personality and character to each of the key spaces.
The Halicka eatery and bar presents a mix of raw natural materials and bold splashes of colour balanced with the black and white layered tones of the PURO brand.
