Of the range of hotel brands under the Hyatt’s umbrella, Park Hyatt in Jakarta is the most luxurious and contemporary. Its hotels are defined by individuality and character, with an emphasis on spacious guest bedrooms and suites inspired by residential architecture.
Conran and Partners were appointed to design the interiors of Park Hyatt’s new hotel in Jakarta. Set within a landmark tower – developed by MNC Land and set in the centre of the Indonesian capital – the hotel occupies the first three and the uppermost 17 floors of the 37-storey tower.
The design includes the interiors of over 220+ guest rooms and suites, including a variety of food and beverage spaces, a pool, fitness centre and full-service spa plus a three-storey function and ballroom facility. The design seeks to respect Park Hyatt’s guidelines while creating a luxurious sense of space for guests, combining inspiration from the multi-cultural aspects of Jakarta and the natural beauty and traditional crafts of Indonesia.
For many people, the city is the first point of arrival in Indonesia, the practice endeavoured to include some of the country’s natural beauty into the hotel and showcase its vast natural resources with Indonesian artistry and handicrafts.
