Mix and Frame Awards recognition for community-focused design

Roughly half of Londoners live in rented accommodation, often spending just as much time in the office as they do at home. So it’s worth asking: what do people actually want from the places they live and work in?

A growing part of the answer seems to be neighbourhood life, and a sense of belonging, and interior design plays a quiet but important role in shaping that, and our work is finally getting recognised by the industry.

In the Build-to-Rent sector, The Maple for Related Argent has been shortlisted at both the Mix Awards and the Resi Awards, and has received a Platinum Honourable Mention in the Co-Living Complex category at the Frame Awards. Judges highlighted its design for “fostering social interaction” and “a sense of belonging.”

And on the workplace side, Dock Shed for British Land has also been shortlisted in two categories at the Mix Awards and received a Silver Award in the Co-Working Space category at the Frame Awards – recognised as “a ground floor that blurs the lines between workplace and the city”.

Congratulations to our team and collaborators who brought them to life.
