Coppetts Wood Hospital shortlisted for Housing Design Awards

Posted: 18/04/17

The Housing Design Awards 2017 shortlist has been revealed and we are pleased to announce our design has made the cut.

Our brief was to transform a neglected brownfield site near Muswell Hill into a vibrant new residential community providing 80 high-quality homes, with a diversity of unit sizes and types, from one-bed apartments through to large family homes; 54% of which are affordable. Drawing on the local red-brick vernacular of Muswell Hill, the new-build architecture complements the surrounding aesthetic whilst offering a contemporary and aspirational design for the area. The scheme has established a formal street frontage onto Coppetts Road, acting as a gateway onto an enclosed landscaped community courtyard set behind this new streetscape.

We are so pleased to have received planning approval for this important scheme. Our proposal aims to transform this neglected site with a bespoke, high quality design - establishing a positive response to the local context, and creating homes and a sense of place where people will enjoy living.
