The Conran Shop
The Conran Shop
Interiors

The Conran Shop is a leading luxury retailer offering an eclectic selection of furniture, lighting, home accessories and gifts from iconic and up-and-coming designers around the world.

The Conran Shop’s roots are in London where it began its journey with the revival of Michelin House, a Grade II listed art deco masterpiece on Fulham Road, Chelsea. The Conran Shop then expanded to Marylebone High Street and famously converted the area into a thriving and desirable shopping destination with a village feel.

Conran and Partners transformed the old stable building, retaining the original façade and inserting a new concrete structure behind. A steel, glass and reconstituted stone staircase wraps around a glazed lift shaft in the centre of the shop, forming the main customer route to the upper levels.

In 2013, Conran and Partners transformed the interiors of both Marylebone and Fulham, highlighting different merchandise as if the store were a magazine, allowing the customer to discover unexpected talent and unusual objects in a refreshing way.

The Conran Shop also has stores in Paris, Nagoya, Fukuoaka, Shinjuku, Marunouchi, Osaka and Shibuya. Conran and Partners have designed the interiors across all these uniquely located stores.
