Albion
Prescott & Conran
Interiors

True to its name – an ancient moniker for our fair isle – Albion serves hearty British food in unpretentious, well-designed surroundings. The first one opened in the Boundary in 2009; the second, in the base of the Richard Rogers-designed NEO Bankside building, opened in 2013.

We designed Albion’s interior and brand identity. From knitted tea cosies and hotel-metal-stamped wooden crates to the sunrise motif that recurs throughout, each element speaks of the idea behind Albion: to offer the best of British without pomp and circumstance.

The first Albion won the Time Out Cheap Eats award in 2009, and both outlets continue to prove popular for weekend brunches and three-course meals alike.
